The simple dexterity of this open/close single degree of freedom actuator allows you to apply the gripping force you need with minimal structural overhead. Because the gripper is flat, it can be used like a crowbar to get through doors and into cracks and fissures. The HG1 gripper is active close with spring return to open. Its fingers are customizable to meet your application. Vecna's grippers connect with standard communications protocols, and standard electrical and hydraulic power connections.
