CaseFlow at DHL Supply Chain

A post from DHL Supply Chain

“Scaling innovation starts with measurable operational impact.

That’s why we are excited to see the success of our pilot deployment of the Vecna CaseFlow™ collaborative case-picking solution at DHL Supply Chain. The solution combines autonomous mobile robots with intelligent workflow orchestration, allowing robots and associates to work together seamlessly in one of the most labor-intensive warehouse processes. What makes this particularly exciting is that it reflects exactly how we approach our Accelerated Digitalization & Automation journey at DHL Supply Chain. Rather than pursuing technology for technology’s sake, we focus on identifying high-value operational challenges, co-developing solutions with innovative partners, validating them in real-world operations, and then creating repeatable blueprints for scale.

Our first implementation of Vecna’s case-picking solution achieved key acceptance milestones, with stable performance and sustained productivity improvements, creating a foundation for broader evaluation and future deployment opportunities. This pilot also reinforces an important belief: the future warehouse is not human versus robot. It is human + robot. By reducing non-value-added travel and automating repetitive movement, our operators can focus on the activities where human judgment, flexibility, and experience create the greatest value.

As we continue our Accelerated Digitalization agenda, we remain focused on scaling proven technologies, building modular automation capabilities, and leveraging AI, robotics, and analytics to create safer, more productive, and more resilient supply chain operations worldwide.

A big thank you to our teams, customers, and partners Vecna Robotics who helped bring this innovation from concept to reality. This is another great example of how co-innovation and disciplined execution can transform operations and unlock the next generation of supply chain performance.”
