Vecna Robotics received the 2020 Robotics Business Review’s RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award! This award features the top 50 robotics companies worldwide, and is widely recognized as a leading indicator of robotics innovation leadership and also a critical measure of robotics sector growth. Each year since 2012, Robotics Business Review has produced the RBR50 Robotics Innovation Awards, which recognize and celebrate forward thinking companies and the original, impactful solutions they have created.

For the robotics sector, the role, importance and impact of innovation has never been greater. Moreover, it is multiple innovation determinants – technological, business, and market – that act in confluence to accelerate robotics sector growth overall. The RBR50 Robotics Innovation Awards were presented for the following classes of innovation:

  • Product, Technology and Services – New commercial solutions that have the potential to positively impact markets or the whole robotics sector.
  • Business and Management – Initiatives or practices that enhance a company’s commercial standing, foster robotics industry growth, or benefit society.
  • Applications and Market – Industry-specific, newly developed applications that deliver value, provide entry to new markets, or improve performance over existing approaches (such as by improving productivity, increasing quality, or reducing cost).

The Robotics Business Review highlights Vecna Robotics’ AI Orchestration Engine, Pivotal™, that helps robots and human workers adapt workflows to shifting demand. Pivotal™ analyzes an organization’s operations and dynamically adjusts them in real time, coordinating and distributing tasks to both people and robots. It is designed to integrate with legacy automation, warehouse management systems, and manufacturing execution systems.
